so i guess it shouldn't be a big surprise that michael bay didn't make a great movie. the good news is that the special effects in this film are unbelievable. there was not one moment during the entire 2+ hours that i was pulled out of the movie because of faulty effects. they looked great and there was flawless interaction between the real people and the transformers. the reason i was pulled out was because it just wasn't that interesting. there are some good action set pieces and cool moments, but the script isn't anything special and i found myself bored by the end of it all. it is possible to make a blockbuster special effects movie with an intelligent and engaging story and script, but Transformers is not such a film.

I watched this movie and I don't agree with your opinion as I really liked this movie and the sotry of the movie was also really engaging and overall the movie was entertaining.
