you may have noticed that when movies are discussed on the Filmed But Not Forgoten podcast and blog as well as on the Not Good Movies blog there is no scoring or rating or thumbs up or down. that is because those are often meant to be discussions of the films more so then a standard type review. and i don't want the focus to be on whether the movie got 4 or 4.5 stars. but, that isn't to say i don't give a rating to every film i see, so the question just became where to put them. and the answer is here on the Ranking The Movies page...
now, with just a title and a rank there is no nuance here. so, why one film got a 2 rather than a 1.5, a 4.5 rather than a 4, or what films within one rank number are better then others in the same section, is not part of how this works...
