Holy crap - I am so behind!!!

Hey there guys.. I went missing for a while cuz I took a fantastic 3-week vacation, cruising around China and Asia... the upside - it was a fabulous relaxing trip. the downside - no real TV!!!! I'm so behind on TV shows and podcast listening... I'm still in the beginning of episode 135, so I figured I'd post my comments here...

Jesse - you questioned the need for the new Starbucks VIA instant coffee... OMG, this is the best stuff since coffee was invented. I travel alot and to avoid drinking yukky coffee in cheap hotels, I usually bring my own. But there is no instant coffee that has the rich nutty flavors that I enjoy in a good black cup of coffee... until now... this new coffee is amazing... so good, so "not instant" tasting... So, no, you don't walk into Starbucks and buy instant coffee, but you certainly get a couple packs to take away with you for later. Thanks Chrystina for bringing it up on the show!!!

OK to TV... you mentioned that the ratings for Mentalist were suprisingly high... I was not aware of the ratings, but I'm still watching and loving that show...

Last comments I left I mentioned I started watching Vampire Diaries... well, damn it - now I'm hooked.. Yes yes, it's a bit teeny-bopper love story Dawson's creek like ... but I enjoy vampire stories and this one is fun enough for me that now.. I can't wait until the following episode... Still like True Blood much better, but I've finished Season 1 (iTunes download) and am waiting for Season 2 to come out for me to download. Love Sookie Stackhouse!!!

I'm with you... LOVE Cougar Town... pleasantly suprised how enjoyable that is. Courtney is awesome...

Still totally addicted to Doll House... they are really mixing things up now and I'm enjoying the story line twists... and OH YEAH.. that terminator robot chic from Sarah Connor Chronicles (Summer Glau, Click here for pics ) will be joining the cast of Doll House... there can never be enough young hotties in one show... ;)

I just watched one episode of Glee.. nothing I'll brag about down at the office, but I enjoy music and they aren't bad... I'm going to watch a few more and see how it goes.

I usually don't watch documentaries as a series, but I just discovered Travels to the Edge with Art Wolfe on PBS - oh my god, this show is a visual treat. Photographers will get an extra kick because he talks about his photography techniques, but the photos and video for that matter are stunning... definitely worth checking out... quick 30 minute show, he travels all over the world and you learn alot.

OK kids.. that's it for now.. back to listening and catching up.
