Howdy guys!!
I'm SOOOOO glad you returned. After my MP3 player syncs, I always look for new episodes from you guys, but lately, there have been no updates. :( So I didn't look for a while, then after my last sync, there appeared 2 episodes from you - Woo Hoo!!!! You are back, and I am so happy (again).
Quick update on what I'm watching...
I'm still watching Caprica, and really enjoy it. It's not BSG, but it's filling that need for me, for now.
And Mad Men of course.. LOVE THAT SHOW.
Oh, how's this for unexpected.. I started watching "Big Love"... who would have ever thought a story about a polygamist would make for good TV.. but I'll be damned... I'm addicted and keep downloading new episodes to watch. Go figure.
I just downloaded Moonlight.. only watched first two episodes, but I like it. Not sure it's good enough to run with the big dogs, but it's entertaining and I'll watch a few more episodes to really get into it.
I'd be interested in your thoughts on Marriage Ref after you watch a few more. Sure, it's funny stories and has some good laughs, but I find most of the humor and laughing between the judges forced and often fake. Just seemed like a low quality show. Let me know what you think after a few shows. (the saving grace for me is some of the celebrity fact checkers - like Natalie Morales - are hotties!!! they just don't get enough air time)
Chrystina - your enthusiasm for Skins has me very curious now... I'm going to look for it and watch a couple.
Oh Jesse.. you were talking about your computer troubles and stated that you do backup (good for you), but not regularly.. I found a great new solution that I love... HP came out with a product called "HP Simple Save"

you can get 1 TB for $140 USD.. but what I like about it is that it makes a complete backup and then keeps backing up all the time. It's not set to run once a day or once a week.. it just monitors your computer and when you have new files appear, it backs them up. In the background. You don't even know it's running. But you always have a full good backup, all the time. OK, enough tech talk for now.
Oh and finally... as you decide where to move next... I vote for San Francisco for you guys. I live in Portland, but it's probably to much rain for you here in the Northwest. But Phoenix - yuck.. I lived there for 13 years - too damn hot; and I was never able to find the beauty in the desert landscape and southwest architecture (stucco and red tile roofs) or art (Pena paintings and bronze cowboy statues). Oh, and it's too damn hot!!
OK.. i'm off to listen to episode 143... Thanks for coming back on air!
